Miller Family Pictures

Lido Beach
Sarasota, Florida.

While on vacation in Florida over Christmas and New Year I got a text from my photographer friend from Georgia asking if I happened to be in florida. I found out that she and her family were also there for vacation. We decided to get together sometime, her family was going to the beach that night and asked if I wanted to join them. I did, of course, and so we went. They had been wanting to have their family picture taken on the beach and asked me to do them. And that is how I got the honor of photographing Corina and her beautiful family…

Love the eyes.

A night at the beach photographing your friends, who could be happier?

Little Brothers

The dramatics of an eight year old at Christmas time.

Dallas: “Katelyn, say you were shopping with someone and they got something you really liked but said that it was for someone else and you think that person might be tricking you into thinking that they bought it for someone else because they actually got it for you, what would you do?”

Fall Colors

fall is my favorite colors. Rich, deep, jewel tones.

Stoltzfus Family

I’ve known the Stoltzfus’s for my whole life, so it seems kind of odd to call them “The Stoltzfus’s.” They asked me to take their family pictures, something I had never done before, so it was all new to me. Hopefully I got some good ones, the sun was really harsh so there were a lot of shadows, but I do like how some of them turned out.

Fall scenery in New York is breathtaking and this day was no exception. I think we got the leaves changing at their climax which caused for some gorgeous orange, bold red, and cheerful yellows. I daresay fall is my favorite season.

And now for some pictures of this amazing family whom I have come to love and enjoy. Thanks for the wonderful time you all, and for letting me practice on you.  Check out Lyndsi’s blog for some amazing photography.
P.S. Sorry for the bad quality, I had to downsize them downloading.

SFP - 1
I think this would be my favorite. It would be nice if you could see everyone’s faces better but I do like the train tracks in it.

SFP - 3

The essence of cuteness. Another favorite.

SFP - 8

Sam & Ruth. This one makes me smile.

SFT - 9

Sarah my sister & Lyndsi my ‘sister’. Two of my closest friends.

SFP - 6

Railroad tracks and fall just seem to go together.

SFP - 7

Joe. I never before noticed how green his eyes are.

End the day with a little fun {not to imply that I didn’t find the rest of the day delightful}.

Just one more. Carefree, the perfect way to describe this.

Please feel free to critique and give suggestions, I love to hear from you.
